Just found this 1983 YZ100, I always thought they were cool bikes, seem to be rather scarce, and would be neat to have a running one. But...this one has me wondering if it's worth searching for the needed parts, or call it a basket case and part it out? Bad...Missing all of the top end/carb, bottom end rusted...

5/22/2018 9:27am Well, the bike and I survived the mud of Candytown this past weekend, it was a tough one...but it was still great to be on the track again! looking forward to attempting another (hopefully drier) round soon. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of AHRMA Mid Atlantic, seems like a cool group!

2/19/2018 8:10pm Looks like a good solid bike, I just picked up the same model to start a 'rider' resto...mine runs great and is mostly intact, but some prior owner decided the 'update' to new Yamaha blue by spray painting all the plastic...with no masking, of course, so there's overspray everywhere! nothing a little elbow grease and some new plastic bits won't...
