1/18/2026 7:57am Back when Steve's traveling schools were going strong, he had a good friend named Jan from Sweden that came over to visit in 1987/1988. He was a very good rider and nice fellow. I have some pictures somewhere.

Are you serious? That is pretty unbelievable to say the least! I was definitely on a KX60, but I have to admit I was kind of guessing at the date. Yes, the owner was Jeff Jones. The track shut down, but he still lives in the area. We are actually friends on Facebook. Small world!

1/16/2026 2:01pm I was there that day on a 1987 Honda CR80. Whatever happened to that old track? Wasn't the owner (Jeff I think?) a factory Honda guy at one time? That was the first track I ever raced on.
