I have seen people make butt patches using basically mousepad material. Neoprene without the nonslip rubber that is often on the Neoprene intended for a mousepad. It will look a little different, but I think it would be more comfortable than the stiffer vinyl/leather stuff. The place You got blanks from, might also have bulk neoprene if You wanted to try using it to make a butt patch. . Sublimate it and then hand cut and sew. One of the suppliers I get sublimation stuff from has a few types of Neoprene . Some that is thicker , thinner, nonslip...
