does anybody use a slightly less tight cam cap tourqe than oem spec on there bike? seems to be a little scuffing after 80 hours on ex side of head.

hey guys looking to buy 19 kx450 and have 18 smpro wheel set, i understand the front axel is 2mm bigger for 19. can i replace the seals spacers and bearing to make my wheel set fit? or do i buy new hub?

when you say the "110" for 250f, is that still running standard 250f rim size still? as the ktm/husky have larger rim size to acomodate 110 stock? have read online before 110 on 250f rim becomes tall and makes for power loss.

2017 kx250f crank replaced at 80 hours was still in good condition and within spec. Put a oem crank in, now at 103 hours haven't had a problem with this bike yet

i just fitted 2018 yz250 kyb sss forks to my 2005 kx250 stock clamps with no problem. need to run a yamaha front wheel/hub and caliper with yamaha spaces and good to go. i jus bought 2012 yzf kyb for my kx250 and tryed my mates 2018 forks to be sure.

just done a full rebuild on 17 kx250f every thing is mint, but can not get chain tension correct? i using brand new oem cam chain, been taking slack up on ex side then instal ex cam followed by intake cam( fly wheel at TDC both cams holes and lobes lining up perfect. then resetting and installing auto cam chain...

in between cams but only as coming to tdc otherwise its ok. turning crank right to take slack up from between crank and ex cam then holding tuat wile inserting cam tensioner? can any one explain the corect method to taking the slack out before putting in tensioner

i think so i used asemmpbely lube to stick the cam keeper clips in place so they wouldnt move as i installed cam cap. the amsoil assembly lube i using is sticky as. The scuff marks shouldnt have any impact on the bike once rebuilt? or does it affect oiling?

split cases today no oil pasages are blocked and strainer just had few bits of sealnt in it. looks like u say the bearing has slipped inside the cam caps dont no why i torqued to 10nm in the order numberd on the cam cap. my oil still comes out pretty clean at 5 hours but im no expert on...

ok thanks. i use factory specs from my manual and plenty of assembly lube also following the numbers on cam caps for tightening sequence after i done the top end at 40 hours at 80 hours now theses scuff marks are new. pretty sure there is no oil problems the filter screen spotless i splitting cases today and will check...

I have the 2017 kx250f, i have cut the right side of airbox open where it has been blocked from stock (to control sound im guessing). i noticed the kawi in arena cross have two large holes cut in the airbox hidden under the side number plate on left side..i seen this on gavin faiths bike. thinking of doing it...
