My point is team accounts can keep a professional image while still sharing important information. The world today is a fishbowl, like it or not everyone and everything is visible and rather than fight to keep information secret they should release it on their terms. The important information always leaks anyway, they need to get out in front of the stories. The Internet isn’t changing, it’s up to the teams to adapt. Thanks for reading!

Would be a great come back story and wish the best for him. He did it the hard way coming through the ranks. I remember him kicking his bike off the stand when he thought he didn't make the main awhile back. Lots of passion to win.

Another good article. From the outside looking in it seems like the Factory teams and the bigger supported teams like Rocky Mnt are holding back their riders from saying what we want to hear. Maybe its an age related thing and they dont quite grip the magnitude of Social Medias possibilities. Wilson is awesome and love my fellow Scotsman but he steps up his social media game when he loses his ride. Im aware there is a point system in place and guess I should have elaborated that it isn't working well if someone turning 33 is still in the class. MXGP you age out at 23 which I feel is a little young but it works and they are producing more top fast guys. Alot of whom are now stateside and doing very well. Just feel it holds up new younger riders from having better opportunities.

I am sure I would too but on the flip side your taking a spot for an up and coming rider who has not been given a break yet.The sport is built on new riders and personalities and Davalos has had his chance many times over. Personally I dont see him being financially beneficial to the team due to his lack of popularity unless PC is getting him for a bargain.

That is a great idea for Davalos as I was just saying he needs to be out of the lights class. However JGR seems to be the team that has some bad luck and it seems riders over the last few years dont do as well on that team aside from Weston. Im sure they are having difficulties getting the bikes up to par with the rest of the manufacturers.

Wish JGR would let Hill go... and hire Davalos. MD did great on the 450 a few year's back and he wants the opportunity to do it again. One wants to race and the other would rather be a musician.

Bad news for Forkner but I dont feel he knows his limits yet. I do not know much about him but I do not like the idea of Davalos lingering in the 250 class. I feel he is potentially holding a spot for someone else coming through the ranks. Maybe use a points system to finally bump them out of the class or age them out like MXGP but give them to around 28 years old. ET3 the destroyer of Fantasy Supercross pics. Maybe all Loretta Lynn classes should be limited to bolt on modifications only. That way there would not be a unfair advantage to the riders receiving factory support since that's the event all of big sponsors are gathered at looking to sign their next rider. Unfortunately there are alot of really fast kids out there with a ton of talent but may not come from a wealthy family that can afford to dump thousands of dollars into a modified engine or be able to afford the amount of money it takes to travel across the country and all of the...

Couldn't agree more. Seems there should be some sort of rule limiting modifications to the bikes especially in the amateur ranks. Suspension tuning not replacement, Exhaust and maybe some ignition mods. Would level the field and save everyone money. Not to mention it would push the manufacturers to keep the bikes competitive from the factory which is already happening thanks to KTM. A great example of a super modded bike is Amsoils Honda CRF150R. That bike is modded to the moon and back. Nice Article Cooksey...
