Yeah I recall it being pretty flat out there. Nice! Where is the track? Always open to finding new, "safe" places to ride. Feel free to shoot me a PM or track me down on instagram (@hatemorlovem) No spare master cylinder laying around unfortunately!

***Update: COMPLETED PICS AND VID LOCATED ON PAGE 2 (posted 10/8/2020)*** New member here... have a pretty cool back story on my '05 CR250. Never really thought this would happen but here it goes! Bear with me for the lengthy post... Back in 2005, my dad helped me buy a brand spankin’ new CR250 (I was only 13 at the...

I did not measure the squish. The builder confirmed that the head was intended for an '05 with domed piston - he is being very helpful and actually cutting two spare domes for me with lower compression / less aggressive squish. Going to see how the bike performs next week on straight race fuel and pending that I may be...

Definitely a good thought, but I think I am good there. I am running a Wiseco 860M06640, which is essentially an OEM replacement spec. I will check that over with the head designer just to make sure!

Hey guys, I recently got my freshly built CR running, it is a 2005 with the following motor specs: - New OEM crank / bottom end - new OEM cylinder - Wiseco piston - Phathead cylinder head (H31 dome which is their lowest compression ratio) - Lectron carb - V force reeds The motor sounds beautiful, however I was getting...

Hey fellas! The bike is ALMOST done, I finally got it running this weekend. I have to say, that Lectron carburetor makes the bike sound super crisp even through I am just breaking it in. Throttle response is amazing. One gripe I have is that I believe the "stock" compression dome in my phathead is actually higher than stock... I...

Mine had a new lectron when I got it. It had pretty big bog down low and I don’t know much about them so I went back to stock for now. I don’t think I would have spent the $450 on one. I might mess with it and see if they’re as good as people say. This all reminds me of my 2006 RM250. That bike was awesome all stock, I put on a bunch fancy crap and it wasn’t nearly as good and that was after trying every possible jet combination.

I love the way yours came out. You need to get some hours on that thing! Appreciate the feedback, I am getting motivated during this quarantine so hopefully I can make some solid progress this month. The bike is at my brother's shop so I really only get to work on it during the weekends when I am free. I...

Your bike is coming out great man. That's funny you are literally right next door! I honestly have been out of the game for eight years, I used to ride the methuen/dracut sand pits and powerlines growing up but they are mostly developed right now. There are some spots in New hampshire that I will be checking out (Plaistow/Kingston area)...

Very nice! Honestly, I’m not planning to get back into racing, just some practice days and sand pits/trails. I will definitely put some seat time in, and try not to worry about it too much. This bike means a lot to me, so I felt OK giving it a healthy budget to make it stand out

Hey guys - the pandemic has allowed me to have some extra free time recently, so I’ve been ordering up lots of parts for the build. Teaser below, also have a fresh scalvini pipe coming and getting some cosmetic things done. Going to finish buttoning up the engine and teach myself how to rebuild suspension in the week or two...

Hey guys, thanks for the patience with my slow progress lately. It’s been a crazy couple of months, but looking to dive further into this thing soon. The motor is slowly getting reassembled, learning as I go. Next up is the clutch side of the motor and then top end/reinstall of the engine. I’ve been doing my best to avoid...

Haha, thanks man!! Honestly I ran my first moto on the bike at age 14 which is totally crazy when I think about it today. I was the youngest person in the 250 novice class by a longshot. For the first year I always had the same issue... I would holeshot 80% of all races simply because I was about...
