It is all explained in the link. I don't know enough about magnets to say much of anything in a technical sense, but I'm a little more than skeptical on the claims.

They do work and attract non ferrous metals because everything gains a static charge in your engine and is attacted to the magnet. It has its advantages like more flow and pressure to oil circuit. I don't run one tho because the price is to high.

Absolutely legit. The heavy equipment industry has been using them for over 20 years. It’s easy to understand the skepticism, but they work excellent in KTM build oil system’s. keep in mind the pre filters remove larger particles. By the time the oil reaches the filter galley, mainly smaller particles are getting there. The magnetic rod attracts the ferrous metals...
