9/25/2019 1:22pm Lots of moving parts in a four stroke engine...if you listen close enough you're bound to hear something 😉. But to me this engine sounds healthy at least over the video and I've built well over 100 4 stroke engines over the past 10 years.

9/24/2019 6:44pm I'm starting to think the same. I am going to check for a leaky fuel injector like paw paw suggested, but if that doesn't work I may just have to make the trip out and swap tanks. This fuel pump is brand new, however what is not new Is the pressure regulator on the pump housing. Maybe that's at fault...

9/24/2019 6:25pm Paw Paw, When I unplug the fuel line, there IS fuel coming out, (from the line, not the tank, as it shouldn't when not running) and as a matter of fact I have to dump the fuel out of the line before plugging it back in before it will start. I have tried with gas cap off and no difference...

Let me preface this by saying, yes valves are in spec, yes the timing is spot on, yes the compression is good, yes it is getting bright blue spark, yes capacitor is new, yes fuel pump is new, and yes all o rings in fuel pump and fuel filter is new. 9/15/2019 3:32pm Bought an 06 Crf450r that had the typical blown head gasket symptoms, white smoke, coolant filling crankcase, pressuring cooling system with exhuast, etc. Pull head and replace headgasket, runs great, no more smoke, no more coolant in oil, but then i notice from the back left portion of the cylinder it is leaking oil out of the headgasket, not coolant...

Trans breather was clear, cavities were clear, reed oriented correctly and passageway into the pickup/stator area was open, reed functioned properly....I dunno. Maybe just some weird fluke. Im cutting a new gasket now on the cricut and will post an update. Everything else in the motor was mint.
