Hi the name is Gary Lamb I was asst. manager of Indian Dunes for 10 years ANY QUESTIONS ??? The pic is of my son "Daniel Dunes" Lamb on the International track @ 7 yrs. old on his YZ 60 (that I bought from Mouse McCoys dad Mike) That thing was fast....

Good job kid..Pops is proud... infact I have'nt been this proud since you blew the doors of King Richard Saxton on the International Track to win both stock and Mod. races in a NMA qualifier...Tony was one of the good Guys at the Dunes,and part of the Wrecking crew...His Boys are doing real good so he is doing something right...

Hi Guys..Dad Dunes here..My Son Daniel " Dunes" Lamb blew the doors off King Richard Saxton both Motos on a Gary Lamb tuned 50cc Indian peewee at Indian Dunes at a NMA Ponca City Qualifer..The Saxtons protested and had our Indian torn down only to find it legal. we used the teardown money to make it even faster..I dont know...

AND .IF THINGS WERE RUNNING SMOOTH AT THE PARK ON RACE DAYS I ALLWAYS WATCHED THE MINI'S RACE..IT WAS A BLAST TO WATCH YOU KIDS GROW UP AND GET FASTER AND FASTER.. Tom ..... One of your better pic's... Did you ever get a shot of me getting air off one of the jumps? Looks like I'm running The International track backwards..I miss my 12G and I miss building race tracks even more..Thanks for the flash back... wow... !!! Gary
Sandy I will mention your dad and CMC.. Supper Guy and first class Club..Stu really knew now to put on a race. We At the Dunes were proud to host The Golden State races every year ,Top promotion that attracted top Riders..Stu really cared... My Best and say HI for Me.. Gary

Tom.. Wow good to hear from you..Thanks for the complement The Dunes was a for sure a Labor of love..What a great place to raise a kid.. I will for sure tell Daniel" Dunes" you said hello..And yes I think you did take the picture of him one of many and I thank you for that. .He loves showing them...
I'm wondering How many of you got your Kids through there younger years mainly be cause of mini bike racing..I know PeeWee, Junor cycle and 80's got my kids through there younger years with Good grades in school and away from drugs.. My youngest started riding at 3 years old and was the fastest peewee in town by 5...

Krazee1... Great Picture ...Boy you too.. And I thought my kid was the only one that did stuff like that...I can't count the times he would just make it to the line for the second Moto And then I had to worry about how much gas he had left.. Real good times... Dad Dunes

finishlineflager.. I can't remember where LACR starting gate came from. AME was the first to race at LACR, I remember helping Jerry Shore set it up..."In a 105 degree heat" but I'm not sure where it came from..Also I have No Idea if it's the same starting gate that is there now.. Don't think anyone would of wanted Internationals gate...

fiinishlineflager...Don't remember the bike but sure remember the pvc poles and flags over the jump at the International track that day. What a pain the wind kept blowing them down...I think we ended up taking them down before the second moto..Thanks for memories "Good Photo"... Dad Dunes...

Any of you guys remember King Richard Saxton,,I think from Vegas or Ariz.. He and His Grandfather would show up at the Dunes for most NMA races towing a 30 foot trailer behind a huge motorhome and tied down in this trailer were two little 50 cc Indian pee wee's. And that was all that was in this huge trailer...

Bobby M.. Congrats...On winning Hopetown I took The race for the Dirtdiggers at the last minute when they lost The track at Corragan ville "Hope Ranch" in Simi Valley..I think We at the Dunes really pissed off Jack "CRC" Because it was CRC's week end to race.. But I think we made it up to him with the annual Dunes...

HI Potts .. "Big Jerry" did not die from the Bulldozer accident while building a jump on the International track..He was in the hospital for a couple months..He went on to work many movies ..He passed away on his porch in Acton Ca. in 1989, He and Shirley had just bought a ranch..and he was working on the show 30...

jpracer1 Last time I saw the Johnsons was at Bayland race track in the San Francisco area back in 86 Brand was racing Quads...I had just signed up with the San Mateo County Harbor Patrol "now retired after 18 years." Real sorry to hear about Sids passing God Bless and please say hi to Brand for me should you see...
