There's nothing inherently "wrong" with the Mikuni, it just tends to be more finicky to jet and sensitive to weather changes (temp, humidity, etc). The keihin is more "jet it and forget it", but in my experience it induces more of a mid-range hit in the power, where the Mikuni is usually smoother and more linear in its delivery. Since the bike is obviously new to you, I would run what's on there and decide if it works for you. As for being clean, that's usually due to the premix. 11/1/2024 7:10pm I bought a new FMF pipe for my bike and its not the right one my bike doesn’t have an exhaust flange just stabs right in After researching I learned that the 00-01 didn’t have exhaust flanges same with the 04-05 do I have a different cylinder head on the bike very confused any input helps.
