That is a lifetime ago!!! I was at Cognac (France) in 1977 and at Angreau (Belgium) in 1983. Very impressed on both occasions by team USA. I have flashes of Kent Howerton destroying dusty berms in 1977 and of David Bailey being so smooth in 1983.

You left off a privately funded American Team that went in 1971 (If I remember correctly), it was made up of John Barclay, Russ Darnell, and one or two others whom I can't remember. I was working at Tracy's of Burbank then (a Husqvarna dealer) and remember getting John Barclay ready to go. I think Eric Johnson's article in Racer X named the complete team.

Yes, it is I, Mr. Bigmaico, I don't have any CMC number sheets (and no results) from the 70s. I would really like to have copies of the top 100 from 1974 and 1975 if anyone has them. Please.....somebody!!!!
