Yea I guess seat height is relative, can't just go off the numbers from the spec sheets. gotta consider the height of the pegs and relation to the bars on top of all of that.

I did a 30mm guts seat (elected to not get the wing but it does seem good) and switched out the bars before even riding it to the ones Keefer recommended. Pro Taper SX high or something? I may push forward the bar mounts in the top clamp next. The Luxon risers may be another purchase down the road. Or...

Can anyone comment how the ergos are compared to a KTM? I switched from YZs to a 350, the KTM definitely needed a few things to fit me better at 6'4" (no bike is gonna fit well stock)

Thank you for the info 🙏 The fact that you let us know early that you believe the ‘18 YZ450 to be the worst bike ever saved me from reading it 👍

Great job for our the hometown kid making the main at A1 in his first SX race. I've been watching him come up since he was on minibikes. I hope he can keep it rolling.

Not much of an MX scene around here anymore. Might be someone closer up by Sacramento. Garahan is probably the best place to start asking/looking. I've not heard of a rental service for MX bikes around here. DirtTech Mark might know of someone.

Thanks for the tips. I've worked in a warehouse, inventory/product coordinating and then a B2c /B2b sales & marketing role in the past few years. I want to be out of sales and into something more of a technical hands on skill, hard to find the right thing. There's a local community college that I should look towards to get...

Thanks for all the responses. I do have background working in E-commerce and I am building up a side business in hopes to grow that into something of actual income down the road. I've also been a mechanic and service manager in the bike industry but I want to get out of that industry.

Because you said technical and computer aptitude (not much to go on) I would say civil engineering in some capacity . Can work private , government or your own thing . Demand is growing everywhere . Infrastructure spending is going to be big in the coming decades .

Not sure if this is up your alley, but waste water and water treatment operators do pretty well. You can get your first treatment cert without experience to get your foot in the door. I believe we will see more and more reverse osmosis plants being built in the future

I have been thinking about putting this question out in here for a bit. Entering desperation mode quicker and quicker as my year did not go as intended position-wise or financially-wise. Does anyone happen to have advice on where someone with technical and computer aptitude can look to hit the ground running on a career path? I'd have thought living...
