10/9/2017 11:12am Goes both ways though. Even pros like kailub russel ride a 350. Both are great bikes just asking about opinions, I wouldn’t go as far to say one or the other necessarily blows the other out of the water thoigh

10/5/2017 8:17pm From what I’ve heard the 11 350 was a shit show, and ‘13-15 got better but had the 450 weight. The ‘16 and up 350 literally weighs 2lbs less than my current ‘09250xcf weighs

10/5/2017 8:15pm Yeah that’s what I was hoping to hear. I want a little more but not have to hang on to a 450 for 2-3 hours in the woods lol. Weight of the bike isn’t an issue as I’m used to 4t and the new 350 actually weighs 2lbs less than my ‘09 250xcf.Thanks for the input as well

10/5/2017 7:10pm Is it more controllable than a 450 still? I’m coming off a 250 but heard even though power numbers between a 350 and a 450 are similar that the 350 feels like a 250 with a little more oomph if that makes sense

9/9/2017 4:46pm Okay... so I bought a yz250 today and ran like a raped ape and now won't even try to start. Has compression, and is getting gas but ran good earlier... so is it just a plug? I ran 32:1 as manual says but guy claims he ran it at 50:1. And oil coming out of head so instead of burning...

9/9/2017 12:18pm So I'm looking for a practice bike and stumbled upon a 2003 yz250... I'm gunna pick it up regardless but are these good bikes? I've read all good about the 03 but the 98 I was looking at before (and am no longer) had tranny problems. So basically just seeing overall opinions on the 03 steel framed yz250.

9/9/2017 11:45am So I bought it, needs for seals and maybe a new kicker eventually. Turns out it's an 2000 but I'm not real worried about new plastics anyways... runs like a top though!

9/7/2017 2:34pm Alright thanks everyone for the replies! That bike turned out to a piece of shit so I'm looking at another 2003 right now. The first one leaked everywhere and anywhere. This bike is close and looking at it Saturday, will post how it goes.

9/6/2017 8:00am Thanks for the input. I'm going Saturday to Look at it n if I pick it up I'll post here. Supposedly runs good, only aftermarkets are vforce reeds n full fmf and somewhat new rebuild. I've always wanted to slowly restore one tho.
