In the next 1-2 years the logo will be just the new A icon; the word "showa" may be removed. They just need some time for the industry to associate the A logo with Showa. Speculation...

What are the safety certifications? ECE 22.06? I do not understand the purpose of a helmet review that doesn't cover the impact certifications.

Good question. Searching TLD's website and online Dealer websites, the SE5 appears to be DOT and ECE, but not able to find whether the helmet is ECE 22.0 6 or the old standard ECE 22.0 5. On TLD's own website the ECE Certificate is published and viewable and shows the SE5 to be certified to the old standard 22.0 5. https://troyleedesigns.com/pages/product-certifications
