Check my Laguna Seca race report. It doesn't get any more competitive that that.

Don't like non moto topics? Don't read it then. I notice that most of the whiners are deep into the political threads anyway so what's the beef? Maybe some of you should stay in the shallow end where you can discuss American Idol & Britteny Spears's latest beaver shot. This is where the big boys play.

Pedrosa's out, Nicky's 3rd, Valentino is 2nd by almost .45 secs. Toseland is a surprise in 5th but I think he raced here in WSB so the track is not new to him. Good work. They're damn close to killing the golden goose. Saw the same thing with ENRON during the Calif. "energy crisis" only they couldn't keep their hands from the cookie jar & it blew up in their face. Sooner or later you will price your customers out of the market & then profits go away. Same old song & dance.

I think one of the biggest reasons that motorcycling, all forms, has not been able to attract & keep big ticket sponsors is the continued mismanagement by the ruling body. Capricious rules making & the lack of consistancy have hurt our sport badly. I remember when dirt track was big but the AMA killed it trying to keep Harleys competitive...
