As you should but around here it's frowned upon. To many smartasses and I've been one on several occasions to.

FWIW, I did a bunch of work on a buds 02 RM125, no matter what I did, checked, or replaced it had a random bog. Jetting was perfect. I even replaced that mystical tiny gasket under the slide block that you have to get through SkiDoo in the carb. I gave up. Eventually he replaced the entire carb and that fixed it...Still baffles me to this day. I spent alot of time on the phone with well known engine builders and they were stumped too. Whats funny is months later one called me out of the blue and asked me...

I reduced the tension on the powerband spring and it sounds way better Plug is all oiled up if i let the bike idle, but not if i go out and ride, so im guessing jetting is good

Well there’s your problem. You have a Kawasaki powerband in a Suzuki. Switch it back to the yellow one.

"I mean, listen, we're talking about neutral, not a race, not riding, we talking about neutral. Not a race. Not, not … Not the race that I go out there and die for and ride like it's my last. Not the race, but we're talking about neutral, man. I mean, how silly is that? … And we talking about neutral. I know neutral is supposed to be there. I know I'm supposed to lead by example... I know that... And I'm not.. I'm not shoving it aside, you know, like it don't mean anything. I know it's important, I do...

Hey brent, just so you know, i fixed it; I removed the powervalve linkage cover and noticed 1 bolt came loose, while another one, the bolt connecting the rotating shaft to the powervalves wasn't bolted on at all, it fell off and was sitting inside that small case.. i'm guessing the previous owner didnt have a torque wrench, since i...

First check the springs to make sure everything is lined up , make sure the arm from the bottom end is functioning correctly. Clean the entire thing till it looks as new as possible. Finally all else fails , you can sell me your power valve set up. With that it's not your problem anymore.

Hey brent, thanks for your answer I'd like to keep my power valves if possible lol Also, i checked the arm and the spring and i think the arm is not positionned correctly, must've been misinstalled so i think that clears one of the problems, thanks I just sprayed a shitload of seafoam on the power valve with the piston...

Hey, i noticed my rm125(i just bought the bike) is bogging during the powerband, i took off the exhaust and the right side powervalve cover and noticed that when i push the rod, it doesnt rotate the spring, and the valves dont move. Also, when rotating the spring manually the valves aren't moving either. I can manually push the valve...

https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/suzuki/motorcycle/2002/rm125/exhaust-… https://www.ebay.com/itm/12670-36F00-000-Suzuki-Governor-assy-exhaust-v… None of the 03 stuff worked for me, its a completely different beast all around. I just bought an 02 rm 125 that someone put an 03 cylinder on ( granted way bigger deal than a Governor gear). I had to bite the bullet and buy a new power valve assembly, and a new head from Motorsport for about 300$. I also had to buy a completely new cylinder from Ebay 155$ (USED). Yet the peace of mind will be worth knowing I spent that cash. 122$ isn't that bad to make sure you know you got the...
