4/30/2017 7:36am Very similar situation happened in NASCAR series, when Martin truex jr spun out on purpose a few years ago to advance his then teammate Clint bowyer into the chase. Serious fines were levied and they lost their primary sponsor NAPA for that. we all know it was intentional.
