So I re-did Salt Lake City to show how to make a longer track...its simple: Make the start shorter and use more space. Here is what Salt Lake was drawn up to look like at first:

Now here is something I drew up. I can imagine this would have been more than 42-43 sec lap times...
The image is zoomed in for the track I designed, but I made the area the same dimensions when I did it.. I did the track in paint so I didnt have the best tools, but same idea.

or just 30 +2 or 30 laps instead of 20. altho, the top 4 would be lapping up to 5th.

sorry, but that won't fly.

You have way too many banked corners heading towards the stands, plus it would be nice to see them get out of 2nd gear.

Short straights with right to left or left to right tend to get crossed diagonally and get one lined. You have 6 lanes that would be about 120' from inside to inside.

Awesome pit bike track though.

It would cost Feld more money for dirt, storage and trucking. They are in the business of making money not spending it.

I think the tracks this year have been excellent along with the racing.

Simply incorporating the start funnel as part of the lap adds an extra stretch.

You should start your own series, chief. Like they say, if you build it, they will come.

They need to become 20 Minute +2 Mains. That would be the easiest solution.
