Salt Lake City SX pit question.

Was wondering what the pit set up was like in salt lake? Im guessing its outdoors? Tryin to travel as light as possible, since there isn't much room in the bed of a pick up for much besides a bike. If anyone could give me info on how they are set up I would greatly appreciate it. Don't want to bring a ez-up if I dont have to, I dont even know if there will be room to bring one.

They are outside, to the west of the stadium.

That parking lot is a student parking lot at the U of U and I know there isn't any shade other than some small trees on the south side. If I remember correctly.

I would skip the pop up. Unless they had an area for tailgating. Take a Monster can for your ticket into the pits.

Not that I can remember. Just as open parking lot as far as I can see.

I'm not worried so much about the shade. I am more worried if the forecast changes and it rains.

definitely bring an EZ-up of some sort, there is no cover to get under unless you're in the tunnel to the race or in the main halls of the stadium. very open.

also, i'll be there all day, good luck man and kick some ass. we'll be rooting for ya

Bring your E-Z up. You will need it. Bring warm clothes, and something that the water can slick off of. Prep your bike for wet conditions, and prep yourself for wet conditions.

Temps, highs around 50 as it stands now, and probably wet off and on. By the time the night show starts if will be in the mid 40's and dropping.

Welcome to Supercross in Utah, in April.
