I don't what happened to Iverson but he seems bitter these days and is just collecting a check like most MX pro's.
you can take anyting out of context and make it read any way you want it. but it kinda defeats the purpose of having a discussion.
iversons numbers havent dropped at all, on the offensive or defensive side. in fact, his assists have gone up.
one can actually argue that since being in denver he's had his best years individually.
his team has no concept of defense. hes the only guy that plays it on that team.
iverson is a hell of a player. i cant believe anyone would criticize that guys efforts on the court.

but none of that matters...wtf does either players ability at 19 have to do with anything? you claim kobe is a greater player than jordan, when in fact, other than this year, kobe hasnt done shit in his career. the shaq led lakers won in spite of kobe, not because of him. you couldve plugged several other players into that role and the lakers wouldve been a better team and not needed the help of the nba (desperate for ratings) rigging the games.
kobe, at his current age, over the last 5 seasons, hasnt done shit but whine while losing and blaming his teammates and management. finally, this season, he just sucks it up and starts playing within the team and walah, the lakers go from barely an 8th seed to the most dominant team in th league. its the same team as before, kobe has finally started playing basketball the way its meant to be played.
if you want proof, look at every interview done with Mr Laker, Magic Johnson. he shares the exact same sentiments.
just be happy he finally figured the whole team thing out. AAU and skipping college does the integrity of the game no favors. he deservedly got the mvp this season, and they might win it all without the help of the nba. be happy.

It's the approach to running the offense and wracking up personal numbers at the expense of the team's success. I don't remember too often that MJ was more about himself than winning, but I do recall periods where Bryant was less concerned with winning than he was with scoring his 50......
