St Louis Review Podcast.
I have to say, I'm a fan of the podcast, but this one was almost as bad as the Steve Cox podcast, which was just sad. Let me explain.
-Jame's crying was staged? Come on guys. The guy can't even crap without someone checking his stools. Weigant, I can't believe you'd question that? Even if you thought that, I can't believe you'd throw that out there. Then Thomas. Please. You can't just get out of throwing that out there and then coping out with a "I'm just saying." What? What are you saying? See. It's a political cop out. Don't use that phrase. If you don't like the guy, just say it. It's O.K. At least Matthes has the excuse to use that sad phrase. He has to be political per his job. You? Just say James is a big fag and be done with it. I'm sure James would have more respect for you if you did that.
-You question Dungey because he could win the the championship with one win? Matthes, you of all people. How many wins did Ferry get in his championship? Timmy, don't read this!!!! Thank goodness, Thomas mentioned that maybe Dungey's plan was to be smart and win the long run.
Hummm. Actually, according to Matthes's "Fastest man" theory, if that is the case, then Dungey would be the fastest man slogan holder. See Steve. Ya hear how silly that would sound? Stewart's the fastest. He just is.
For those that didn't hear Matthes "Fastest man on the planet" rant, I think it was last week. Last week, Matthes said James wasn't the "Fastest man on the Planet on 2 wheels." He said something like "The Fastest man on the Planet on 2 wheels, but he crashes. The fastest man would be winning the races and James isn't."
I think they already have a slogan for that guy. The slogan is held by McGrath.
Sorry PulpMX people. I still love the show, but it was bugging me. I don't even like Stewart. Don't hate him, but there's no question about his talent and speed. Anyway, I felt the Pulp guys needed a reality check. Just because they hold the mic, it really doesn't mean they're alway right.

Hey, since Vital is more of a "HATER" site, since I want to be "one of the guys" I thought I'd add in a good hater comment.
Steve Cox is retard! Oh boy. I heard his issues on PulpMX and I couldn't even finish the podcast. it was like listening to a child argue with answers like "Because!!!" Remember that crap? "You're like glue and what ever i say sticks to you!" He didn't say that, but it was just as bad. It was really bad. Not even good radio. It made Jerry Springer sound good. The other guys was just being a big fan and reporting some info and Cox got into running quotes. That's like if I said "James is a fag" would you really think I thought he was gay? "Oh, well you said" blah, blah, blah. Cox should be a broadcaster for Fox news.
P.S. Sorry JS if you're reading this. I'm only using your name as an example. You're pretty bad ass and if you win this championship, you'll get the last laugh.

Weigant typically has a good analysis of the riders and sport in general. I have spoke with him at a few races and he's always been friendly and willing to talk moto.
I PM'ed Matthes on his own website one time and got no response.
That's about all I know.
I expect better from Weege and can't believe he agreed with Matthes on some of that crap.
I don't think it was fake. That was JT.
I like the show and all three of them. I think they need Ping there (he was out this week) to keep things grounded.
The best part of the whole weekend for me was being able to meet some of the riders and get pictures after the race. Traffic was backed up out the wazoo after the race so after walking down to the Landing, we headed back to side of the stadium where the trucks were starting to move out. Well, Trey Canard happened to be walking by right after leaving the stadium, I politely went up to him and asked if my GF and I could get a picture with him, which he was more than happy to do. I told him he did great out there and he graciously said thanks. We were totally pumped to get to meet him away from the hour long autograph lines in the pits.
After that we figured we might as well stick around and see who else might come along, as luck would have it we also got to meet KDUB coming out of the stadium at nearly midnight. Kevin was with his wife and kids but was still kind enough to sign some kids autographs and take some pictures with us. Kevin is an amazing rider and a great guy too.
The best part was when James came out though, he was with Malcom and they were loading up into the car. It was really late by this time and James had a small gathering around his car and he and malcom were signing autographs and posing for some pictures. They were both really cool about everything, although you could tell James was tired, who wouldn't be?! Anyway, standing a few feet back from their vehicle I said hey Bubba great job tonight, to which he kindly replied thanks a lot. Talk about a perfect end to a great night at a supercross race.
Forgive me. You did say that. It's freak'n THOMAS!!!! hahaha. Well Weege, like I was trying to say, keep it real. I guess I heard that wrong (I just went back and listened to that piece) and i was floored. I'm typically good with all your comments ( and your uncle's comments) so when I heard that, it stopped me in my tracks. Ruined my morning.
I was wrong, however. The ears failed me. Give those other guys hell! You don't need a reason. Just give them hell. It keeps everyone on their toes. If you can't think of anything to tease Matthes on, just ask him who was 10th in the standings in the NHL Eastern Conference. Bring tissues though. He may cry.
Not a fans of cats either. You guys are onto me!

Hey Matthes, now that the Leafs are golfing do you think you have more time to bang out a few more Classic Commentaries? I love those things.
Sincerely,
Die Hard Bruins Fan
[Devils advocate] In fact, if we're going to play the game of people fakeing things....has anybody see the MRI that confirms Thomas has a torn acl? I dont knooooow....just saaaayinnnn...blah blah blah[/Devils advocate]
^^^^^ See how rediculous that sounds ?
Somebody post a recent pic or video of Matthes riding a motocross bike.
That's what I thought.
Anyway, isn't there something more creative to moan about this week than a free podcast?
Anyways, sorry some of you didn't like the podcast. Not every one can be a homerun or even a double for that matter.
To clear up some stuff I did a podcast with Dungey earlier this year. His people made me wait a long time from the request to the actual show happening but in the end, it happened.
James talks to me every now and then, we have made plans to do a podcast soon. I talked about in the show, he didn't like some stuff that I wrote recently but we hashed it out. I have a lot of respect for all the guys in the class and don't have any vendettas or anything against any of them. If they don't like me, it's on their end- not mine. I get paid to give my opinion on racing and I may not always be right but it's my opinion and it's somewhat educated. I'm not afraid to admit if I got something wrong.
Totally not relevant. You don't need to ride to analyze this sport. Matthes has at least ridden and wrenched so to me he has more credibility than a Chris Berman, Stuart Scott, etc.....
Post a reply to: Matthes, Weigant, & Thomas just miss it
