Someone mentioned it already but definitely Reed when he broke his shoulder blade and still raced. The guy still had his hospital bracelet on!

BUT

When you think about how little guys used to get paid to do this, then the stuff Magoo, DeCoster, et all did seems even more ridiculous.

You know what I like about this thread, No one is fighting or trying to discredit what any of these riders have accomplished we may not like certian riders for what ever reason but we sure as hell respect them.

Maybe not the top of the list but:
Johnny O' - for finishing 2nd in both his motos, beating everyone except RJ and David Bailey, in the 96 MXdN riding a 125... and passing a field of 500s to do it... on their continent.

Mike Larocco winning Kenworthys when it was flooded and under 6' of water. During trophy presentation he made love to all of the trophy girls one at a time, chloroformed the entire TV crew and slowly ate them on the podium.

There is just not enough you can say about Doug Henry that can fully explain who he is...the guy has been dealt with some incomprehensible Adversity and just keeps laughing in its face. The man does not have one gram of quit in him. Anyone who has ever had the chance to talk with him or meet him, before or after any of his injuries knows exactly what I mean.
