Didn't look like an accident to me, weird he did that. BS move IMO. Dungey lost two positions because of that move, definitely changed the outcome of the race for him because of that.

Seems ok for him to battle for position like any other racer. I did think the same way you do at first though.

Yeah I hear ya.. but he seemed to let the others by without a problem. So basically my question was why Dungey and no one else.

This was covered in another thread but does deserve another look.. I also thought WTF is he doing throwing down on a title contender? I mean he is just another lapper and its just not cool to screw with the contenders at this point in the seaon! If it was early on in the seaon then all is fair and he could have also been a contender but now..way to late. WOuld he have run into Bubba??

What's with the stupid question ?? Its Ryan Dungey, the most timid racer on the track.....I think Adam Cianciarulo would go out there and push RD around.....He should have beat REED and he should have beaten CANARD but he wouldn't pull the trigger

I think if you rewatch the race you will see a charging RD, at one point almost running into the back of JS while running him down. What ruined his race was when he was taken out by Byrne (his own words) and that put him from 2nd to 3rd when RV got by before he could remount. He almost ran RV down at the flag even after falling.. he's doing OKSmile

So it's wrong for professional racers to race for position?

Things that make you go Hummmmmmm...............Its sad that Mike is just another back marker now........Hopefully he can keep up with the contenders outdoors............I'll bet he will never forget the practice crash that took his knee out, he would have been a 450 national champ, that was his year.............

Just racing.
From the looks of it, they had a discussion about it on the podium and probably had a brief discussion..
Dungey fans will probably feel it shouldn't have happened, and Alessi fans will wonder why he didn't push in there harder.
As long as they have it square, all is good.
I'm hoping Dungey gets an aggressive streak for the rest of 2011..

It was pretty funny Alessi getting all badass with Dungey and then dropping anchor as soon as he got to the whoops. In fact, I think I saw Alessi stomp on his brakes 20 feet before them.
