Opinions on who you think has the most pressure on them going into the remaining rounds? Dungey, tp prove his sx title was not a fluke?, Reed, to prove he still has it and win on a privateer ride?, Canard, prove he can be a rookie title winner like RD? RV, to prove he can win the title on a big bike?, and Stewart, prove that he is the fastest and best again? IMO RV and Steawrt have the most pressure going in the last rounds, Stewart needs a win bad and RV needs one also because his points lead has vanished.

Reed, and if he doesn't get a another win soon he will really be down on himself.

I think both RV and Stewart

Definitely Stewart and RV, but mostly Stewart.

Reed only has whatever pressure he puts on himself and I don't think there's much. He wants to win, he doesn't HAVE to win.

Dungey already delivered 2 championships last season and still has the outdoors to bring home a championship this year.

Canard is a rookie and any podium he gets is great for Honda and beyond their expectations.

RV has more pressure than Reed, Dungey and Canard simply because he was hired to win the championship and has barely even finished a 450 championship thus far so he's due for one.

But without a doubt it's Stewart. The guy not only has a whole team built around him but sponsors who lost tons of money last year betting on him. And he doesn't have another championship to fall back on this year, it's either supercross or nothing. Especially knowing that he is the fastest, anything less is a failure.

IMO, from the most pressure to least at this point in time:

RV, JS, RD, CR, TC.

I'd say RV's performance the last two weeks have to put a ton of pressure on him next week. When he had a big lead many including myself thought he had it in the bag. Stewart has the pressure from being considered the fastest and racing SX only. Dungey from being defending champ, needs to prove he can win with the best riders out there. Reed doesn't have much pressure at all on him right now. Points lead, bit older, non-factory bike, not considered to have the same speed as Stewart. And I really think the only pressure Canard has is being a Honda factory rider. Rookie year in a stacked class, did anyone expect him to win?

I'd shift the order a bit at the beginning of the season: JS, RD, RV, CR, TC

Villopoto for sure. He had a commanding lead in this series and has watched it slip away. If he doesn't rebound soon then he let this championship slip away. He was so awesome on a lites bike. He needs to win a championship on a big bike this year.

RV has the most pressure IMO. He had everything working for him and seemed as though he was starting to walk away with it.... then bam... Jacksonville.... boom Toronto....

Now he sits in second place with someone in front of him that has gotten faster as the season moved forward but he can beat IMO if he gets a good start.

The 3 hungry guys behind him have the speed to beat him on any given night.

This season has been great... I am most thankful that the scary moments have not resulted in serious injuries.

I really can't decide who I want to win... they all have had to push through tough times. I guess I will just keep cheering for a tight points race.

Easy one, Stewart. He has built a empire on his success and he deservingly is credited to that success. but banking on that has signed to contracts to keep it there.

Media is an eval place, good or bad you get the coverage.
I for one have all the respect in the world for this dude for his accomplishments and for what he has done for himself to Market The Stewart name.
But he has to live up to the hype.

Under pressure!

Theres an old song pertaining to this..good post.

yea that is very true, i think your right and i think it will be good to see how Stewart deals with this kinda of pressure coming from behind this late in the season. I think it will be cool to see if he can just put on a 5 race win streak and let the rest play out(which i highly doubt will happen, BUT with Stewart who knows whats going to happen) RV also has a lot to prove he blew that points lead fast and he crashed out of the last title chase he was in. As far as trey, chad and RD it seems like the just slipped in the title chase a perfect time and don't have as much time to sit back and worry about it and are just going for it. It's been an interesting season so far and it will be good to see how it plays out. I also posted early about it that those top 5 have only all placed in the top 5 at 3 rounds so far so it makes it even more interesting that likely 1 of those guys wont finish in the top 5 next weekend and a lot of points can change in one weekend.

I'd say RV too. He was on a roll, cant imagine how frustrated and angry he must be right now.

Stewart also has the weight of the world on his shoulders too, but I guess he can rationalise in his head that he is riding hurt... can still get fourth from the back of the pack etc... is still the fastest out there.

I think what RV has to deal with now could drive him insane. He is on thin ice after such a good cushion. Like someone said, if he doesn't get a grip and get some wins soon, I think he could be on a slippery slope to insanity. Shocked / wild, irrational, desperate moves.

Put it this way, I'd rather be in Reed or Dungey's boots than RV or Stewart.

I have followed the sport for 15 years and i can never remember a time where there where 5 riders who had a ligament shot at winning the supercross title. by the time the last two races get here there will probably only be 2 or 3 riders with a real chance to take it and those guys are going to be feeling tons of pressure. cant wait for next weekend and i need to book my vegas tickets now
