One of my sons sent me this link. I found myself recoiling, flinching and wincing all the way through the video. I'm so pleased neither of my boys ride street bikes - not that street riding itself is dangerous; it's riding amongst all of the bike-blind car drivers that worries me.

I did a bit of that with an 01 R1 and an 05 R1 with a power commander and exhaust. Needless to say, it isn't the smartest thing in the world....but then again, what would you expect a 16 year old with 170HP to do? The best thing I've ever done was ride those bikes on a racetrack.

The Ghost Rider series of vids is by far the craziest shit ever.

I've seen photos of riders who've crashed at less than half the speed these guys are going and they are literally torn to pieces. Can't imagine what would happen if someone hits a vehicle at 200mph.

Exactly why I will never allow myself to own a crotch rocket. I have a hard enough time keeping my car under 100 on the highway.

Reminds me why I sold my R6. My family thought I was going to kill myself on it. Did nothing like this guy though, just long wheelies and stoppies. That guy is soooooooooooooo lucky, one car does something different he's dead.

I think that summed it up perfectly. Several times I was holding my breath watching that.

The thing that bothers me about videos like that is I could really care less if that guy gets killed doing this crap. Thats just one less moron that I have to deal with, but he is putting other lives in danger and that pisses me off.

Or maybe I'm just wrong.....maybe he is a dedicated employee running late for work......

WOW...I sold my 08 GSXR1000 four months before my daughter was born...I dont regret it for a minute. Its soooo easy to do something stupid on them...

x2 I went to youtube and looked him up, I'm surprised he doesn't need another bike to carry his balls! This guy needs to get to a track, he has some serious skills on a street bike. Couldn't take my eyes off the computer, by far the craziest thing I have ever seen done on two wheels.

Yep. all that is true. And I still think that the street is more dangerous, even on a cruiser. Never mind a bike that is begging me to ride he daylights out of it.

It's easy to get hurt on any motorcycle.
The way I have always looked at it is:

When riding / racing MX bikes, chances are I will be the one to seriously injur or kill myself. On a street bike, any dipshit on the road is a potential killer. I don't have to worry about track side obstructions pulling out in front of me.
