Question: Is this a symptom of what has been happening for several months or preparation for the end of the world based on yesterday?

In a past life, I used to design automation equipment for large companies. PackExpo was the largest trade show (in the US) at McCormick Place in Chicago. If there was an election coming up that the execs did not know which way it 2was going to go, they held investment money till after the election. They wanted to have an idea what direction things would go before spending significant amounts of money. I recall being at a hospitality suite one evening  when they announced Bush had won (on one occasion) many contracts were signed that night in that suite. Point being, people like to assess what's ahead before making financial commitments. But, another question is, do people even have expendable income to spend?

As an FYI, that show is small compared to Dusseldorf in Germany which we also displayed at.

TM are you in the automation industry still?

No, that was a previous life over 20 years ago.

A daily occurrence.

Mom: eeyore... what's that smell??

eeyore: I had an accident.

Mom: oh eeyore, not again. Come here my little one, let mommy clean you up again.

eeyore: *sigh* woe is me, oh woe is me.

I paddled out in my wetsuit one morning at Sunset Beach. I got to the lineup and my digestive system started warning me of an impending incident. I started paddling back in and luckily caught a wave. I didn't dare stand up. Got to the sand, dropped the board and started sort of jogging in a funny way. There were restrooms in the parking lot. I made it to the restroom, closed for cleaning. Looked down the parking lot, the next one was about 200 yards. I made it but if I had been at Bolsa, I would have peeled off the wetsuit in the water.

You need a wetsuit with a bum flap.
