I admit I’m biased toward Hondas. I’ve owned 1 of every model of the CRF450R since 2002. But I must say, I was surprised at how much better the 2027 actually was over the 2026 and I really liked the 2026, it had been my favorite until now. I didn’t think it would be that much different, but I was wrong. The bike is incredible. Motor is very strong, but very manageable and smooth. Kind of sneaky, it doesn’t hit hard, but pulls forever. The suspension is the best out of the box that I’ve personally ever ridden (from Showa). It takes about an hour for the bike to loosen up, but it just got better and better to the point that I didn’t want to ride my fully prepped 2026 WE anymore. Bike is very stable and the suspension was very balanced to be to soft for my weight and ability. Front end sticks to the ground like glue and there’s very little reaction from the front end. Air filter design is very good, electronics are placed much better than previous models. Clutch engagement is better now and lets out further from the bars. Negatives, clutch pull is still harder than others. Seat is a little thin. Still no app to tune the ECU 🤦🏻‍♂️. Shock adjusters still hard to get to. No skid plate. Stock grips still suck. Compression adjusters on the forks are still almost impossible to access. I wish they would use a 270mm front brake rotor. Other than that, not much to complain about. Very happy so far 👍. The bike isn’t perfect by no means, but they did a damn good job with it.

Already seeing buyers online with bikes that wont start/ short crank for 1 sec then stop......decompressor issues again sounds like.

Who knows man, probably isolated instances. If not, Honda will take care of it.

Thanks, I’m so bummed, my dealer was told by Honda that their 27 doesn’t ship to them until Dec 24! Thankfully I love my 26we but I’m still wishing I had a freshie like everyone else!

Fullfloater has entered the chat. Both of those bikes suck. They don't even have a kickstarter!

You gotta use a hondathumb, button is not compatible with other brands.
