You guys can talk about the cost of living, property taxes, vehicle standards, car and homeowners insurance etc. If you don't think you can, that means you're probably already prepared to blame the right or the left and start the argument cycle all over again. Try talking about it without just resorting to the same rhetorics. All we're really putting a stop to here is directly talking about direct politicians, their parties, and world politics-style conversations.
I'm not caving to a minority; I'm fucking over it. It's the same politically charged threads going 50 pages deep with the same echo chamber people cussing each other out. If you need to discuss deep politics that badly, there are other places. Places that don't give me a massive headache to deal with.
The amount of downvoting, complaints, and overall negative comments posters made towards each other in a few political threads outweighed everything else on this forum by a long shot.

We were judging a beer contest and I usually got to pick which styles I wanted to judge. It was a big important contest, so we had a bunch of inexperienced judges.
Since I am BJCP certified, el presidente put me at specialty beers with some newbies, never a good time.
I shit you not, some dude made peep flavored beer. Absolutely disgusting, but it tasted like peeps so he scored pretty high.
Sweet Mother of God…Peeps flavored beer? I hope you skipped judging and called Deep Space ICE, and had that son-of-bitch deported to the far reaches of the galaxy.
It is the biggest home brew contest in Texas, and it gets submissions from all over the country.
Our club wasn't directing that year so I had no way of easily finding out who entered it. It's all anonymous to judges.
I can say with almost 100% certainty that it wasn't from anyone I know.
When we host local contests, we don't even offer that category. It's just a added money generator, and a sandbagging, cheap trophy category. If you want to impress me, bust out an amazing Saison, pils, helles, porter, etc. Styles that are actually established, and have profile guidelines.

Peeps are my kryptonite. When I first started eating clean a few years ago, I had to leave the store over fucking peeps. Walking down the aisle, I smelled them. Suddenly, three months of good, clean eating was about to get thrown out the window. Granted, I resisted that urge to buy a package but, god damn that was rough. Been clean and off Peeps since 2023… 😂
