Just read some sad news about the passing of famed announcer David Stanfield. Not sure of the details, just thought I’d share as in my opinion he was a very talented and enthusiastic announcer, with a legendary voice. Rest easy Mr. David Stanfield. Please share some photos and stories of David if you have some.

RIP David Stanfield…💔
He had his place in Supercross history for sure. RIP David Stanfield.
He and Larry Huffman were my childhood watching supercross, so very sad news. Rest in peace sir.
Spent a memorable couple of days with David and Ricky Johnson at his house in Seal Beach CA, watching them surf, days before the 1987 Superbowl of Motocross at the LA Coliseum.
David was best friends with Jim Janard Oakley founder and his spare room was full of Oakley swag.
He did the voice over on “ Rick Johnson Profile of a Champion” video I distributed in Europe. His voice was silky smooth.
My sincere condolences 💐 to family and friends.
