I drive by it all the time when I go from the Valley up to my hometown of Ventura. I could see it from the highway but I wasn't sure if it was actually a track but then this weekend I saw someone riding on it. I got super excited. LOL.

And here's another track you can see from the 118 out towards Ventura.

Hondaland was right about here: 34°18'11.59"N 118°46'23.75"W. I spent the summer of ’93 looking for Hondaland the old fashioned way, on a street legal DR350. It took me a while but I finally found it. Super gnarly SX track and a long outdoor track.

The one labeled Ricky Carmichael's Tracks (@30.743339,-84.259912) is actually Colleen Milsaps house. Separate from MTF but only about 20 min away.

That place was great. I got held hostage there once by the ranchers.

Back in '83 and '84 I ran into Johnny O' Mara quite a few times at and around Honda Land in Simi Valley, also road once with Kyle Lewis threw the Honda Land MX track. I was 15 then and told Kyle to go first and I followed right behind him and did every little move and trick he did staying right on him just having fun. Man! I should of taken Dirt Bike riding and racing more seriously, I probably would of ended up racing with Johnny O' Mara and Kyle Lewis in the AMA SX and MX events. Back then Kyle was 12 years old I was 15-16 and Johnny O' Mara was 21 I think, i'm 47 now and still race and ride for fun, but who knows if I was the way I am now back then I might very well of ended up on the cover of Motocross Magazine or Dirt Bike magazine. Parents split up and we moved back to Virginia and our lives took a different turn. I know if we stayed in Simi Valley I would have been a dirt bike racer. Honda in Kawasaki are my bikes and from '85 till now it's KX forever dudes! To the good ol days, Dan.
