will it require an *? I assume it will, as it will not be "straight up", being how Stewart crashed and all.

Nah RV is straight up moto and fast, he was fast on mini's, his amateur days, and now his Pro days. He's racing against a full field, unlike RD & CR, sorry just my opinion. RV will have NO * next to him name.

3. Chad Reed (-24)
4. Ryan Dungey (-31)
5. Trey Canard (-42)

I'm putting my money on Villopoto.

unlike JS as well, think RC was not in it when he won.

so technically there is no championship without an asterix.

i think some championships come easier than others, but they are still won!

Actually no they weren't . Stop trying to twist shit. JS and CR were gone within a couple of races. RV was dominating RD and was taking over the points until FELD decided to make one of the dumbest jumps ever and leave it up after riders complained about it all night. You are a delusional idiot if you think RV wasn't on his way to the championship last year. Look at what he is doing to RD this year. Wait and see what he does to him outdoors.

Are you trying to make a funny? Did you just say Rv was going to win the title last year? How do you know rd wasnt just playing it safe everytime the points lead got close rd would win. RD beat him all season till he got hurt so nice try buddy

You ignorant fool. RV won 7 races last year to RD's 4 before the St Louis race. He then caught and passed Dungey and was checking out before the crash. Yes I am saying RV was going to win the title. He was going to be 9 points down at that point if I remember correctly and was dominating RD. He was in his head and the momentum was all on RV's side. As a matter of fact RV won 7 of 8 races and was on his way to number 8. It wouldn't have been close outdoors. Don't kid yourself and think it would have been. Again, where is your boy this year now that all the players are healthy? HE HAS LED ONE DAMN LAP AND WON 0 RACES!

(Enter sarcasm)

Fanboy + His rider losing = *

Great rider - Popularity = *

Suzuki + Roger + Goose + Dungey = *

Dungey - Healthy competition = *

(All riders - Dungey) - Healthy competition = Smart, gritty, fastest

Fanboy + annonymity = *

(End sarcasm)

Champion + * = CHAMPION

yep read that too- only thing is the two guys brokje the streak- Stanton and Stewart...and one is still racing-

I think this is why RV is kinda been laying up..I noticed after A2 he tried the quad almost ate shit and then never really seemed to worry about getiing first..just saving points week in and week out- smart

You are champion regardless of *. You have to be there to win. 20 laps 17 times. It's not rider a's fault if rider b gets hurt. If Dungey didn't win the title last year, everyone would say he sucks because he can't win with other riders hurt so he is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Anyone that can do 17 supercross races and be the points leader at the end deserves the title no matter what happens.

the only championship I would put an * next to would be RC in I think 05 when they penalized him for illegal fuel (along with 2 other riders) and then 2 weeks later reversed RCs penalty, but not the other 2 riders. He then went on to win the championship by what 12 points?
