It’s crazy to watch our guys (USA) and in the heat of the battle and see how crazy this event is to them. There’s not a chance they’d ever not want to do this race. And its a little disheartening that a certain rider thinks this race is not good enough for them unless they are paid…
It’s a great race, and I’ll be cheering for USA, but ALL the riders and teams have my respect. Great to see the camaraderie amongst the different nations. It’s really what it’s all about.
I wonder if Michael Jordan ever turned down an invite to play in an All Star game?

It’s the best moto event of the year and nothing is even close.
If you’re a fan, by mid June, you are working on who will be on your team…. Who is riding well, who has exigent circumstances to deal with. It’s a passion for the sport. And as we saw yesterday and today, it doesn’t really matter who is there, it just matters that you as a fan and your country are represented.
It is a religious experience.
