More commercials than racing. You would think they could find a little race action to show.

If I'm not mistaken, they are going to show the mains without comercials so they are getting them in, in between

Funny thing is that you would not see ANY racing without the commercials! Imagine that.

What really gets to me are the "watch the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series"! commercials...Why are they even advertising the series that everyone is already watching at that moment. They could be using that time to show more of the race and behind the scenes coverage.

somebody's got to pay to have the show on the air, that's what pays speed for that time slot.

Brilliant observation! Especially since I'm already paying a premium to see it on cable.......LOL. Judging by your avatar, I bet you're leaning towards the Bosley?? By the way, the track is ALIVE tonight.

I will never say "live" SX is not a good thing. Anything is better than nothing.

But if it is live, show everything. Even if it is delayed a while, just show everything and run the commercials in between.

They advertised a "live" Daytona, but skipped the Lites heats to show them as "highlights". Then they did not show the results of the Lites heats, or anything on the lites LCQ (and about 13 seconds of the SX LCQ without any results posted).

I had no idea who was racing in the mains of either class, other than the guys they showed on TV. No Lites results, no LCQ results. I guess they figure we don't care, but that is BS. Don't advertise a live broadcast and then edit the shit out of it and only show the mains (delayed) live.

As someone mentioned above, they wasted commercial time for ads to promote buying tickets to see the event live? A little late for that, what a waste and makes them look stupid. Edit out the racing to show a commercial about buying tickets to go see a live event- that you are already watching on TV. Let me jump in the family truckster and haul ass to Daytona so I can buy those tickets....

I can't believe any motocross fan would complain about a live event featuring commercials. Every live sporting event has commercials(including pay perview). Some of you would complain if a girl at Hooters rubbbed her boobs on you.

Way too many commercials!

The icing on the cake for me was the fact that they didn't even show the results of the Lites heats after the "highlights" aired, and they didn't show the results from the LCQ's, WTF. That's pretty bad!

The main events were aired without commercial breaks...that's awesome!!! Big deal that we had to watch commercials leading up to the mains...get up, stretch your legs and get a beer or soda or pet your dog, whatever...

Besides the 2 heat races and the 2 main events, the coverage of Daytona was pathetic.

I do the same. I wait 20 mins which is always too quick to start watching.

i agree 100%. I can't stand the Bosley and Progressive commercial with the two idiots on bike screaming!!! I hit the mute button every time they go to commercial!!!

Same stuff gets old after the 3rd or fourth time within the hour.

I can see part of the new NFL contracts, we aren't going to show you the 1st and 2nd quarters, but we will show you the entire 2nd half comercial free!

I work in the industry...but not for the promoter, AMA, or speed, just seen a lot of great changes over the years and seeing our sport evolve to what it is today and the coverage we get is amazing and seeing same day coverage and uninterrupted mains is awesome!

I enjoy the behind the scenes stuff they show. It's all moto related so why complain? If they cut into the mains for commercials it would be worth bitching about.

It is a brilliant observation if for no other reason than because it's true. It doesn't matter what you pay your cable company, you pay for their service, NOT for commercial free televised programs. You should be happy that these commercials are there that buy their time for you to see it. If you did not have that, you would not be seeing any supercross on your premium cable service. I hate commercials, too, but let's face it, they pay the way for us being able to watch SX.

By the way, that guy in my avatar is one of the greatest physicists of all time. Even with his hairline (which isn't bad at all) he scored on chicks that that took his courses at Cornell and Caltech. I bet you feel dumb now. Smile
