Best advice I ever received for improving my local commentating skills was from Ralph Shaheen. He said go commentate a little league baseball game, record it, and if you can make it exciting, you'll be fine.

I don't think the cough was fake, I think he was so surprised that James force fed him popcorn that he was genuinely trying not to choke and spit it everywhere. It was definitely funny, though.
