I have a distorted reality of what the economy is like for me personally. After caring for my mother spending 99% of my savings to do so, not really working much and just about killing off my business, I have no idea how things really are for most people.
If Democrats were holding all the majorities and a democrat was President right now I would be saying the same things about them. It has nothing to do with party. And everything to do with what the people in power are doing. And saying well it could be worse, yah it can always be worse.

What is so much better right now than When Biden was in office. Really I'm honestly asking . Most of the answers I see are people happy he's an dick to liberals, closing the border and no gay people with blue hair, or trans athletes in the Olympics' . Just answers that are designed to trigger . Some of the relaxing of the EPA stuff might be good. But the cuts he made didn't change how much money is being spent and the proposed budget for 2027 is higher than 2026which was higher than 2025 and so on. So basically we are spending more on less .
I don't think Biden was great either, but things were less expensive and he just said no to Israel . plenty I didn't like about what was going on then too. But really fewer things that impacted my day to day life in a negative way than now.
Trumps first term bought me years of privacy when he shut down the $1 billion dollar casino build next-door to my shop. That started back up recently nut at a much smaller scale. And I would say that he did more that helped me than hurt. I didn't think he was a good leader and disliked the way makes no effort to unite the country . Personally I am not impacted by the money that was wasted by stopping a lot of the solar and wind projects when they were near the end and throwing them in the trash. I am impacted by the higher utility prices that I now pay. Do I have opinions on all of that stuff, yah. And I could continue , but it just takes us further away from the question I had asked.
