Anybody hauling their dirt bike(s) in a Gen 3 Tundra? If so, mind sharing or posting up some pics of your set up/mounting system, with and without your bike(s)? The Gen 3(22'-27')Tundra's have a sheet metal composite bed, so conventional mounting systems appear to be limited. I just bought a 2026, so looking for some ideas.
Get the tie down rail system from Toyota.
Hmmmm - 2025 1794 6.5ft bed same as my 2019 Tundra, 2017 Tundra, 2007 Tundra, and 2000 Tundra. I use the deck rail system and stick the front wheel in the corner. On the left there is a tiedown to the footpeg as well as the handlebar from the same rain ring. On the right there is a tiedown from the rail ring to the swingarm (looped around) and the cab-right-side ring to the right handlebar. I also have a 300 and 150SX and all the bikes go in the same.
With 2 bikes they go in straight and I have a bed extender for piece of mind. If you have the 5.5 bed .... sorry for wasting your time. I was wondering what the 5.5 bed guys do. But that's why I got a 6.5 bed.
Like any other pick up. 2 straps and any combination of straight with gate down or sideways with gate up.
Thanks for the replies. I previously had a 2011 Tundra with the 5.5-foot bed and used the CCR Bed Buddy along with a bed extender. It worked perfectly for hauling 1–3 bikes.
Unfortunately, with the composite bed structure on the new Gen 3 Tundras, it doesn’t sound like drilling through the front of the bed to mount the Bed Buddy is going to be a good option due to potential structural integrity concerns. I’m reaching out to CCR tomorrow to see if they recommend an alternative mounting method that would work with the composite bed. Will also inquire with Toyota about the rail system they offer, but like anything Toyota, I'm sure it'll be spendy.

I have a '26 Limited, however, mine came with a spray in liner (leaps and bounds better than that composite liner they put in, which I had on my '23 Tundra) and Toyota rails. The rails work great. I have two mounts in the middle of the rear bed rail and easily load two bikes in. I have the 5.5 ft bed.
I have no input but I do have a tacoma.
