After seeing those, james did let off the gas once he saw reed. James just hit the gas before reed was all the way in his line.

I like Stewy, and I'm happy to see Reed comin back at it. It's nice have 5 top guys rather than four. His pass made that race wild, I'm not complaining. Not at all. GOOD RACE (to watch)

Fact is Reed lost that race with one wrong decision around a lapper. I reckon that's what Reed will be pissed about.

Missed the race..damn....thanks for the vidSmile

Here is what I see....for the record I started racing in 1965

1) Stewart left the door wide open, not sure how far into the last lap this was, but Stewart should have been a little tighter
2) Reed was to his right rear and you could see that he was going to close the door by turning inside
3) Reed was taking a big chance
4) IMHO Stewart new Reed was there but chose not to check up
5) Reed took the chance, closed the door and Stewart drove right into him

Two top level pro's racing for a win. If you do not take chance's then you need to go take up bowling.

First Class Racing ....FIrst Class Risk Taking......Damn I missed a great show. Now to find the replay date
