I solved the traffic problem many, many years ago.  I have an ice chest that is waiting in the vehicle after the race...also a small propane grill.

The chest contains water, adult beverages, and brats/hot links/burgers...whatever takes my fancy.

By the time the food is eaten and the bull shitting session has concluded...the parking lot is empty and I drive peacefully away.  Life can be frustrating or not.  It's what you make it.😉

Pala’s a different animal.

One way in…one way out. One road feeding the facility: State Hwy 76.

They could make an easement out to Pala Mission Road and send part of the traffic north to Pala-Temecula Road(the light blue route shown)…but, uh…they haven’t.

Getting out of Pala is truly a clusterfuck and hasn’t been addressed.

To read for later.  I’ve been in contact with the owner.  I’m going to present to him many ideas to prevent this clusterfuck from happening again.

I was wondering if they had a cop directing traffic against the light at the Casino if that would have helped.  We turned around before we made it that far but from the line it seemed to be a pretty big bottle neck at that intersection. 3 hours wasted just to turn around.

Best solution! Don't hold a race at a track that is not a NATIONAL CALIBER TRACK! Pathetic that this is the track picked to represent the southwest and center of the sport for most of its existence. Bud and Davy are at a low IQ ego impasse and folks that support this sport and the sport in general have to pay the price!

This is unacceptable.  And yes I agree to those saying Pala isn’t a great spot to host a national, but Southern California needs one for the industry and fans but Glen Helen isn’t an option.  SoCal fans pack the Angels stadium at both Anaheim events, we used to do it 3 times a year. It’s even $55 for parking alone but everyone including me says NO PROBLEM take my money!  At least they have tons of police working traffic to safely clear people out.

I think they chose Pala and stuck with it because it’s Indian land.  I don’t see how this doesn’t break fire code

From my understanding they don’t have the infrastructure to host a national anymore.  The land of the track is a lot smaller than it used to be.  They also built houses on the lake bed right next to the track.  I’m glad that place is open at all.  I was told in 1999 theyll never build on that dried lake bed.

Why would Elisnore be a better national race track than Pala anyway. Pala is way better. They just need the normal dudes to prep it like a normal Tuesday.
I also wish they would plant some more trees around the pits.
