Nobody got an opinion on whether Reed can back it up this weekend? He's got to have gotten a tonne of confidence with the win and like RC says, if you give Reed one ounce of confidence, he'll take it and run with it.

Is this a start to a win streak?

Yes, I believe it is. Chad is good at Atlanta too.

I don't think he has the speed....yet. He doesn't either, from his comments.

i hope so! stewart needs to lose, just cause he's too popular, and too good. I like the underdog to win (: soo either villopoto or reed has to win for me to be happy with the supercross series!

This might be the worst post of the year so far.

If he's gonna win he's going to have to get past Trey Canard and that ain't gonna be easy.

I didn't know the riders were racing to make you happy. I thought it was the other way around. Smile

I'm a big Reed fan, but I doubt he will. He was riding VERY well, but judging from his results up to that point, I don't see him doing it again that quick. Remember, I'm a Reed fan but I won't kid myself! Tongue

Reed had it last weekend and I think he will get another one, Daytona seems like a race he could win.

I gotta go with Trey for Atlanta, he had the speed and aggression but the mud bit him.

Matter of fact I am going to be bold and say this will be the box:

41 - He flat out wants it and went for it last weekend.
7 - Looks to be "managing" the championship at this point, smart.
2 - Gotta have something to prove but can't seem to catch a break on the start.

Reedy will be fine. If he wins this weekend on a dry track....I think we'd be seeing a turning point in the series.

I would LOVE it if Reed walked away with this series. It would be classic and quite frankly, Reed deserves it. If he pulls holeshots, he can do it.

"Deserves it?" Why does Reed deserve the championship? It's going to take more than a simple holeshot.

Would be awesome to see, but my crystal ball says RV is going to come out swinging and start slaying a string of wins. He looked pissed last weekend. I see Reed hammering out more consistant podiums.

Jumping ahead of myself, but can you imagine this battle outdoors! Is going to be bonkers. Esp with Pourcel in the mix.

I 've grown to like Reed (especially after racing the Nationals again) but, James wasn't on it with the track the way it was and was also in "championship" mode, Trey fell twice, RV got a horrible start and Dungey.........well....... is hard to tell if he's a threat or not to Chad. I just hope he now is dialed in to run with Trey and Dungey. I don't think he will run with RV or James on a dry track though.
