Have anyone around here ever gotten a rock stuck in their clutch?

If so, would it keep the clutch lever pulled in?  Maybe it was roost? Just trying to understand this statement?

No, and double no when no ones in front of me and I'm not being roosted.

I had, but I had Magura Hydraulic Clutch Kit Assembly. I pulled the clutch and the pin couldn't return to normal position. Not sure if that is even possible now with full hydraulic clutch

Usually there is a little rubber boot on the lever that would keep that from happening on the bar side.  At the case with a hydraulic clutch, doesn't seem like anything could temp not make it work.  But could with a cable clutch for sure.

I think Hayden made that up as a spite against Hunter for when he claimed a rock got caught in his sprocket and he tipped over a few weeks back.

Hayden playing everyone.

Can he really “play everyone” while getting gapped by umpteen seconds a moto? It kind of loses its luster given that fact.
For the record I am hoping HD does figure this incredible challenge out. His summer of ‘26 humbling makes his new less cocky presence more tolerable and frankly welcome. The rest of our American riders aren’t even a factor so, as an American I’d like to see at least one of our guys not in the 30-100+ seconds back from the top 4 even if it’s HD.
Which brings me to another point. WTF happened to our guys. They crumbled in 250 class (basically stepped aside for Hayden last year and on 450’s it’s wild to see factory riders in the new 450 pro B class . Regardless, the weekly clinic put on up front by the Lawrence’s brothers is pretty amazing. They make mistakes and still are destroying everyone.

Ok Its like when Team USA Men or Women beat a small European country in hockey.
People do not realize that the USA has 400,000 kids who play hockey wheras a team like Finland only has 6,000, yet we chest pump each other when we beat them.
MX, these riders from other countries also have about 5% of total riders of what we have in the USA, yet we are behind.
Blame it how we train, blame it on SX, blame it on Rio, we have stayed stagnant while these other countries are producing some sick talent.
Is what she is.
i enjoy talent from any part of the planet and do not care where they from.  Of course when I was younger I wanted to see America dominate.

I agree with what you are saying 100%. It would be nice to see an American in the fight here in the American series. I am honestly  a huge fan of the Lawrences and have close buddies from Australia.

This raised an eyebrow when I heard it so I looked back through Pit Bits to see what clutch setup he’s using. Maybe if he went down and buried the bar in the dirt there’s a chance a rock or dirt could interfere with the lever. I would file this with Sexton’s “rock stuck in the throttle body” on the KTM.

Do these guys ever have a new clutch slip a bit? Maybe it slipped? That would certainly feel the same as it being pulled in.
