You can't figure out a 450 yamaha, I liked Yamahas, they still have some interesting memory feedbacks from 20 years past when I sit on a new yamaha. Specially the shrouds. Everybody that has ridden a 2000 era yamaha knows how wide those radiator shrouds were and stil are. Aside from that, Febvre in 2015 won a world title with the new yamaha, nd 2025 febvre also won on a bike that is "different".

You should really look for the Gypsy tales episode with febvre, you could understand a lot why Febvre is succsessful on these motorcycles, especially considering that he is also a supermoto world champion and then started motocross. So i think febvre feels comfortable on another types of motorycles - hence he can really capitalise on this Ducati next year. As sooner or later they have to bring over their motogp success. But ducati is fading a bit there also... maybe they have but so much efdoet on the mxgp programme, as has honda done the past let's say 10-15 years.

Romain Febvre has never been a Supermoto World Champion, or even close to it.

He raced MX, got hurt, did supermoto for few years , and won the French 125 title , which is basically a kids class in 2007, and went back to MX but never won anything of note, but he has won the Superbiker at Mettet, which is the big end of season race in Belgium twice.

Yes, he is fast on a Supermoto bike, but never won a senior championship.

I went and checked you are right he wasn't a world champion. Then I started to look uo who I taught off. Turns out my memory is some parts of it lika a swiss cheese. There are flashbacks, of wrong persons.

We all have those.

But lots of people have said this, even on the MXGP broadcast, but it is wrong.

And for clarity, he is 100% fast enough to have done it, but he simply never rode the WC .
