Just to add... Mcagrath is tied for 10th all time in overall wins in the premier class I believe. He also has more 450 (250 in his time) overalls than Villopoto. 1 title and 2 des nations wins. I get that his career is lopsided, but he still stepped it up outside.
Anyone with eyes can watch some old races and see that he meant business.
Ryno is definitely on something, whether it's the spot is unclear...
Years ago (30+) we went to the MXdN, and made World champions look like amateurs. We started the moto’s with much more intensity, took more chances, and by halfway thru the Moto we were jumping over those same champions , turning 2 or 3 jumps into a huge triple. That was an incredible sight to see, and it was a long time until the Euros came to grips with the changes the U.S. riders were already comfortable with. Unfortunately, what goes around comes around, and we are now on the receiving end of lessons being dealt out. Track prep is diametrically opposed between the U.S. and the Euros, and for the most part , Supercross is invisible in Europe. Speeds are also generally lower in MXGP, while we have Freeways at some tracks here at home. Let’s get back to making the Outdoors our first priority !
