Since the wackadoodle left thinks Helen of Troy is black,   I think we need to reimagine American History, too.

A Spartan (Greek) woman of great beauty…the beauty of a goddess…such that could cause a war…like the Trojan War…for example.

But, I’m pretty sure you knew that.

That didn’t say anything about skin color.

If it fits the artistic vision of the film why not have Sydney Sweeney play Harriet Tubman, Mel Gibson had Jim Caviziel play Jesus and that worked for the film. Larry Ellison is a big right wing guy and he owns Paramount, he could get it made tomorrow if he wanted.

Anyone see Immaculate?

I think Mark Wahlburg would make a excellent Kunta Kinte and Ricky Gervais as Chicken George.

I should be applauded for my progressive, open minded thinking.

Why not !   There were indeed black slave owners in that time.

Next up;  Margaret Cho as Susan B Anthony !

You're definitely on to a piece of subversive art here with an interesting message.

This obviously bothers you a lot.

What ‘color’ should Helen of Troy (not even a real person) be?

You didn’t answer the question because you can’t.

You say you’re exposing ‘absurdity’, but every joke you make somehow circles back to race. That’s a pretty revealing pattern. Maybe spend less time worrying about the pigmentation of fictional Greeks and more time asking yourself why race occupies so much of your mental bandwidth.

😂There were many who robbed from the rich and gave to the poor in different cultures . But Robin Hood was definitely an Englishman.

Id pay to see that shit.   Love Trejo !    Put in Dwayne Johnson as David Bowie,  Antonio Banderas as Col Travis and George Lopez as Davy Crockett.

Santa Anna would have to be Dylan Mulvaney !

Karl for Vital Films casting director !!

Of course it circles back to race.  Duh !   I didnt start it,  your brethren on the left did.  They are the ones hell bent on inserting all manner of races (and genders) in certain historical roles just to cause controversy and hoping they can get attention and make a few bucks.   Because they are so bankrupt of innovative ideas, something THEY thought up,  they have nothing original to sell so they crap all over classics and create rehashed stupid shit.    Every joke or jab ever written comes from observation of things in life,  every single comic will tell you so,   Carlin was the king of that stuff,   so my jokes and jabs are no different than any other joke ever written and put out there.   Dont like my schtick,  tough shit.   Cuz its open mic and Im not censoring myself for nobody.

You can insist this is about 'historical accuracy' all you want, but your selective outrage gives your game away.  Decades of historically questionable casting? Silence.  One Black actress? Multiple memes, multiple posts, and an entire thread.

That isn't a defense of historical accuracy. It's outrage driven by racial prejudice.

This isn't about being nice and kind or anything like that. The truth is this is being done by design with intent to erase our culture and history, so that we feel tied to nothing. And both sides know it... When you argue against it you're gaslit and called a racist. But then try it the other way i.e try and insert a white guy/gal into a historically black role and, oh no, suddenly race DOES indeed matter and it's disrespectful, and it's modern colonialism, and it's insensitive etc etc... The 2nd series of Wolf Hall was destroyed with this nonsense.

Jane Seymour's sister according to the BBC:

Maisie Richardson as Bess Oughtred in Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light
