14th fastest time overall, not bad for his first pro SX.

I doubt he will ever have to endure the testicular torture his brother suffers at the lips of his "fans"... Grinning

I'm happy for Mookie. Way better than I expected. But I should have known better, look who he rides with and where he lives. Hopefully he can pull off a podium.

...and 14th place for the evening. Leaving his first AMA event healthy, w/points!

Yeah, on paper I'd be pleased. Go home, watch the tapes and come back in 2 weeks and shoot for a top 6.

Malcom showed well yesterday.

Crashed like everyone thought, but pulled himself together and showed his speed. I never thought he would make top 10, but he proved he can race.

He is a good rider and can hang with the top riders. Good job.

Had he not gone down with PJ in the opening lap he would have held on for a top 10 easy. He was slower than the big guns just slightly. I'd say he's right behind Sipes, Wharton, and Bagget in speed. Barcia and Wilson are the class of the field for now though.

I think with the 15 lap Lites main they are able to show both qualifiers.

He put in a good ride in his heat. First lap of the main, trying to move forward a little too quick might be a trait learned from his brother! His get off happened all the way across the stadium from where I was, didn't get a good view of it. James first race didn't go so well either, Dallas wasn't it? Give him a few races, he'll settle in and things wll be interesting.
