It’s good that he can walk away. I think it’s the right decision for him and his family. Good luck to Forkner.

Agreed. 100%!

im sure the team would like to keep him, but the results on weekends arent enough to justify keeping him, and i would wager forkners heart isnt in it

Forkner is a head case right now and staying in the game is only hurting him. If there is a future in racing for him, he needs a sabbatical like Kevin windham had in 02-03.

He needs time to finish healing mentally.

My Forkner memory is his crazy-rapid ascent from this little kid busting tricks on a razor scooter at the skate park, to getting tats and hooking up with a Monster chick. At first I was like "way to go buddy"! But then he started throwing up all this lovey-dovey "spend the rest of our lives together" shit up on social. I remember thinking....easy there tiger...you're barely like 18 years old (or whatever he was).

Wish him the best though. He's had a tough moto career. Hope he stays healthy and finds his path.

Exactly this! ^^^

I wish him the best!

All this going on with his arm and still making 450 mains in AMA sx, unreal. Kind of sad and happy at the same time, alot of top tier 450 riders have been beaten by Forkner on their way through 250s, injuries always stopped his true potential to be reached. Yet what he reached was amazing, God be with him and his family, and thanks for the memories.
