I know how well stock Husky/KTM OE pads work, just checking to see if anyone has tried an aftermarket pads. EBC, Braking? Any other good options?

Front?

Rear?
What are you looking for in terms of improvement?

More feel, durability, power?

I’ve ran Braking CM46’s for 7+ years now. Great bite, good life. Never had any problems. I’ve used Galfer pads when I couldn’t get the CM46’s in time and I was so pleased with them I bought another set to keep as spares. Can’t remember what model/pad type they were though.

The stock KTM pads are great, but for the $ there’s better options out there IMO. In my experience, if any mud or water even looks at your KTM OEM pads, they’re basically junk.

Depends greatly on what rotors you have.

Good info, thanks. Which Galfer did you use? I'm looking to replace fronts right now, did you do front and back at the same time? If they work as well as OE and are cheaper I'm good with that.

The stock pads on KTM brembo are made by Toyo and are hh rated for the friction coefficient standard.

If you are looking for same type of bite as OEM, look up any pad that is hh rated.   EBC, Galfer, Braking all provide hh pads

Not all pads are created equal though with wear life and modulation.  Some swear by the braking cm46 as being the best/optimal.

ProX sintered pads are good and priced well.

In general, Carbon pads won't last as long and don't seem to work any better than sintered.

I wondered if the HH rating meant anything. Thanks.

Galfer HH is the model.
