That’s actually a good question. I’m sure many parts are sourced from China for any e-bike. So probably not long.
Which parts of the Stark Varg do you think are made in China?
I was speaking more about the electronics and such. Even the OEMs have parts made in China. Even the fancy phone you just got through watching porn on has parts made in China. I’m sure the bottle of lotion you just got through using was made and packaged in China 🤷🏻♂️

You are projecting, take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror!
It was meant as a joke, sorry if I offended anyone. But China will be making affordable e-motocross bike soon I bet.
I don't see a 1:1 clone, but I definitely see a cheaper version hitting the market. Nothing on the Stark is entirely revolutionary, it is just a "greatest hits" of components that were engineered to work well together and bundled with good software*. The same could be said for the iPhone or the Model S.
That said, I don't know if the Chinese are inherently capable of producing something on par with the Varg. While they certainly can produce decent products in a number of sectors, I have yet to see a full size bike from them that is even remotely close to what the major OEMs are putting out. One could make the argument that electric power may level that playing field a bit, but I've found that most of the Chinese bikes fall short in the chassis/suspension department more so than the engine department. At least with the latter, they have Honda designs to knock off.
* I say this based entirely upon what I have read about the Stark. I have not experienced one in person. For the record, I still do not believe that we've received entirely unbiased impressions on the Stark, but remain optimistic about it. That is a conversation for another thread.
Its most likely not a "clone" but chinese e-mx bikes should be here soon as well:

The CFmoto looks actually really good.
The only difference in the Varg clones atm is they’re all lighter than the Varg.
There’s so many today, it’s hard to count.
