Let me know if anyone knows anyone that will do this bike justice with a restoration near the Orange County area in California or northern AZ area. I would love to get it restored. I don’t have the time to do it myself right now. Thanks guys. I will post pictures of progress.

Can anyone help me with a powdercoat ral number for the original 94 yz250 frame color? I'm building one, and I'd like it to be as correct as possible. TIA

Wild man,

What ever happened with your bike?  Did you get it restored or do any work to it?

I just acquired a bike that I have been trying to get for about 15 years. The bike had changed hands between 3 of my friends. Everyone know it was a pro ama works bike that has ohlins suspension. Titanium hardware. No numbers stamped on the engine. I have been doing a lot of research and contacted the first person that I know of that onwned it and he said it was Larry wards #11 bike. I am looking for parts and advice. I am not sure if I should do a full restoration or just clean it up and replace what needs to be replaced. I am going to need all the plastics, graphics and seatcover for sure also a Noleen pipe and silencer. My friend had the suspension rebuilt by race tech but it’s an ohlins rear shock. I think it’s going to be difficult to find those parts. Any advice or parts information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm in (Quartz Hill Ca, (W Lancaster) I took the original plastics number plates and front fender off for a few reasons #1 to preserve the before I hammered them and #2 I had to run my own race number. #3 I didn't want to come off as a poser or to be riding practice at LACR or Glen Helen and people watching me thinking I was Larry Ward riding like a Pud !!! I could hold my own pretty good but not at that level, I actually got the bike to race it 👉 The plastics went  to the person I sold it to in perfect condition.

i got it from my buddy in OC ca the first person that owned it from my friends was a guy named Sean Kalpakoff, all he said was it was Larry Wards bike. i reached back out to find out about the story of how he got it and if there were any parts he still had, be he has passed away from ALS. so thats about all i know at this moment. still on the hunt for parts. Got it running yesterday and it rips for sitting for over 10 years, we are documenting the build and might be on display in the new motocross park in northern AZ when its done.

Contact Clark Jones @ Noleen J6 and he probably could tell you if it's Larry's race bike, since he ran the team.
