Getting one bike dialed and ready is enough of a chore. How would it work trying to dial in two bikes at the same time...or starting from scratch on a 450 now?

You really think a 450 would make difference?!!!
The Chassis is Identical...the POWER is not...speaking to the "Set-Up" issue.
While I couldn't really care about KTM's marketing...I -WOULD- like to see Shorty on a bike with more "early" Torque.
I'm jus' knowin'...
The KTM350 makes about 48hp high in the rev range and weighs 237 lbs.
In what universe is this a better package for a top professional rider?
without concern of being squared up or stuffed because a 250f wouldn't be able to triple out from the inside line. If a 450 was behind him, he's fucked. If he trys to protect his lead by taking the inside line, he can't do the triple, rythm section etc and if he goes outside, the 4 fiddy tractors around the inside line than goes BRUP...and seat bounce the whole track....
But of course this is all mute because the 250, or 350 would never be in front to begin with. HOLESHOTS are half the battle, especially in SX, not even Bubba can overcome a horrible start let alone a guy like Short who has to get the holeshot to win, nevermind a top 10 start.
450's have made the SX class, and the track, a pivot and shoot affair...so..................you need a 4-fiddy to win da 4 fiddy contest. imho
Pit Row
Nothing new here.
Indoors, I agree, outdoors is a total different story.
