So far there has been no reports of death or injuries.....but it has destroyed a lot of property.

I'm watching this twitter update page , and a lot of people posting are going through the cyclone right now. Sounded like it was scary as hell. >>> http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/environment/weather/cyclone-yasi-live-b…

All in all it was pretty mild compared to what we were expecting.

Don't get me wrong it was still scary for people in the path of the cyclone but thankfully they were preparred for much worse. At this stage there have been no deaths or serious injury which is incredible.

There is only property damage, plantation damage, minor flooding, blocked roads, etc. It is still a Cat 2 Cyclone as it heads inland and is still delivering strong winds and quite a bit of rain as it heads inland.

I was lucky as the damage wasn't as wide spread as originally expected. It was expected to wreak havoc further south than Mackay on this map:

and I live in Moranbah so we were spared any damage. It's windy and there's some rain about but we are fine. We havn't lost power or any other services which we are thankful for.

Thanks to the Vital community for your concern, thoughts and prayers.

Good to here your safe and sound and still have power. Perfect opportunity to get some practice in on those DLC tracks and get ready for a floggin on Tuesday night. Lol

106.2 on Boxcar is your goal!!

Stay safe bud.
